Shannon is an award-winning actor-writer-producer and considers herself 'bi-coastal without the other coast' as she divides her time between her homes in Colorado and California.
Shannon has recently sold 4 of her short films and was hired along with her writing partner, Tony Jerris, to write a thriller for a major cable network (NDA) and they have completed a few original TV pilots (all titles are in the 'writing projects' tab above). They currently have 1 Christmas Movie in post-production and 3 other Christmas-Themed scripts in option. Everything she writes is to "Tina Fey/Mindy Kaling" herself by writing fun roles she can play -- because why not write characters for yourself?
She was hired as part of an ensemble cast to play "Paula" a snarky cashier at a grocery store for the film, "Yellow Bird," she also co-produced - it's available on DVD or you can watch on Amazon Prime, Reveel and Apple+. Tony wrote the role of "Maxine" for Shannon in his feature film "Bobby Holiday" which is slated to begin production in 2025.
Her short film, "Pasta" has already won several awards for writing and acting (Shannon wrote the film and co-starred) - including winning the Grand Jury Award for Best Original Story from the NYIFF.
She proudly served for 4 years as a Board Member of SAG-AFTRA and is a founding member of Women in Film and Media, Colorado.
